Biodiversity Surveillance

Biodiversity is one of the most critical pillars for the sustainability of mankind.  It is the cradle for discoveries in medicine, food science, etc. and is also responsible for at least 40 per cent of the world’s economy.  However in a survey by Millennium Ecosystem Assessment, it is found that 60% of the ecosystem services are being degraded or used unsustainably.

Protection of Biodiversity Resources

Setup of processes and systems to standardize, integrate and manage biodiversity resources, so as to protect and sustain the existing biodiversity

Maximizing of Biodiversity Resources

Setup of centralized facilities to enable large scale and coordinated discovery work, including implementation of high throughput storage and screening facilities to cater for downstream commercialization efforts.
